Meh, seems like this board's been infected with the T-Virus... "Why won't you just die?!?!?!"--Me w/handgun vs. Nemesis (RE3)
Well I guess if it lives, then I must post:
[glow=blue,1,000]I didn't get the walking theme from you yet Liammeister. I wasn't in on the day you told me to check back with you and I haven't contacted you since then on my own accord, I guess I just figured you were a pretty busy guy. I would still like it though, so if you could just pencil me in... Yeah... Thanks.[/glow]#nosmileys#nosmileys

Today's gameFaqs poll is "If you could only buy one company's games ever again, which would you choose?"
Right now SquareEnix is winning. Whenever GameFaqs throws up some FF related poll, that always ends up being the winner.
But here's what the fans are saying. If every other game company went bankrupt, they would have no problem playing Final Fantasy for the rest of their lives. Sure there are other SEnix games, but if you study any of the previous polls, you get a sense that that's what they're voting for.

Metroid Prime 2, GTA: San Andreas, Halo 2, Metal Gear Solid 3...does anyone have some spare cash to lend me? I'll attest to being rather broke right now, but to prioritize my purchases this month, I'm going to have to go with Metroid Prime 2 (of course) and leave everything else to whenever--even though I've heard the new GTA is amazing.

Hey Liam, when are you starting your Cape Man series?

Hah. That "coming soon" link has been there for like 2 years. I had hoped to do a Flash cartoon for Cape Man, but I just haven't had the time to implement it, or learn how to animate properly. Right now, I'm just focusing on College Life, currently featuring my 6-part in-color series about a guy seeking urine-based revenge on his roommate. Here's part 3: www.liamland.com/images/AveJoe_Center_035.gifFor more comics click here: www.liamland.com[glow=red,2,300]SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION[/glow] Hey, speaking of comics, I wonder what ever became of Zogan? He left the Enix Forums after something happened to his user-name log-in. I remember him as the guy who drew comics and had like 5000 posts.

... and so I said "if it's not dead then what, is it slipping in and out of a coma?" *roars with laughter* Well for the past few weeks keb's been trying to build up an immunity to FPS games. Apparently, I'm allergic to them and end up getting splitting headaches which last for hours. The good news is, Timesplitters 2 is really worth it. I was aware of my condition ever since Wolfenstein and Doom, but jeebus, "Heir apparent to Goldeneye" man! I just couldn't resist . Well, it's been fun guys, a truly honorable attempt to keep the Enix spirit alive. Now I don't mean to kill anyone's fun or anything, but I think it's safe to say that this board really is dead. I'm sure you're all aware of that, hell, you probably aren't even reading this right now. I just wanted to give this board a final salute before I left for good. *salutes* And so I'm off to explore the world. I'll see you all in the next life. [edit]BTW Liam, you still owe me a game of Four Swords... maybe next time [/edit]

Well, it's been awhile.
Currently playing Metroid Prime 2, Chrono Trigger (the slow-ass PS version), and Arc the Lad III.
Haven't picked up the DS or the PSP yet. Though, there aren't a lot of games that I'm interested in playing for either. It might be worth waiting awhile.
I've seen some various screenshots of DQ8, with no news on a US release. It looks really sweet, but I'm not holding my breath for this one, after all we've been through as EoA fans.
Kebbster, I'm not in Carmel anymore. I'm down in southern Westchester. You'll have to school me in Four Swords sometime when I'm "upstate" visiting. How's school, or did you graduate already?

Nob made my dreams come true, sure the good ol admin at enix.
I was playing Pokemon GreenLeaf, and on my way to Cerullean City, i battle Nob! I remembered how he was in on G/S too. He also translated the PKMN games if you forgot. Well back at enix i asked him if he could put me in one of the games as a trainer any trainer and he said he didn't put the names, but he would if he could. Well i went to battle misty and i battle this trainer with my name! ;D I don't have a very common name so i think it's unlikely it was coincidence counting i asked him seral times.

Awsome. N0B was a cool guy, I remembered when he compared the DW3 forum members with maggots XD. Just curious, are the new pokemon games worth getting? I played Blue/Red, and only got up to the third gym leader in Gold/Silver due to problems*. Essentially I'm asking whether the new pokemon and changes are worth paying $20 to play a game I've already played.
*I was impatient and bought both Gold and Silver in Japan. However, I couldn't understand almost all the dialogue something I should've known (considering that I was nearly failing Japanese school). Nothing like the torment of being a half-Japanese gamer who can't understand Japanese. I did smarten up tho, and found a translation guide before I bought FE6. ^_^

Was the character's name SDP or your real name? I had a similar thrill with the reference to my name in Dragon Warrior III (and in Star Wars Episode II) but in my case, both were obviously unintentional.

Meh, I 'm fricking bored.....
I got Resident Evil 4 just a couple of days ago and it's the greatest game evas. It's not as frightening as REmake, but everything's had additions to it which makes so much better in terms of gameplay and length compared to the other RE's. You guys need to get it now.
Outside of that, I've been really busy and EXTREMELY tired. I've succeeded in being the only Poughkeepsie Pioneer to participate in both spring track and crew at the same time. It's typically against the rules, but my school's athletic director says that since crew and track are in different "sections," I could do it if I wanted. It sucks. I'm really good at crew--I can pull a 6:30 2km--but I really wanted to do track too--which I admit I'm not as great at, but I can hold my own. Basically I forced myself onto track, and my crew coaches forced me onto crew. *tears fall* It hurts so bad...
