Welcome to the new haven. The history of the Largest Topic may only now exist in saved cgi files from the once proud and mighty Enix forums, but seeing that the forums have been so beautifully emulated here, I figured it might be nice to bring back the tradition. TLTE was an experiment to see how large a topic could get, positioning it in the least popular forum in the Enix community so that spam would be less of an issue. In less than a year's time of DQ and other video game fan conversations, we reached 2267, at which point the topic had to be closed and archived, because it was too big for our new posts to show up. But since the experiment, it had become a fan bonding experience. Over the summer of 2002, I basically posed the question, well, what now? I asked a few people if they'd like to start their own TLTE2s, but I guess they felt better if I started it, for tradition's sake. It was kind of funny to watch people in other forums say, "wow, your topic is 30 pages long!" whereas ours was 57. But we weren't about the numbers anymore, so The Largest Topic Ever 2 began in the spirit of continuing the conversations. Though today, the real Enix Forums have yet to go under, and TLTE2 currently stands with 1112 posts and 28 pages, it might be interesting to try out a new experiment here. Thanks, SDP.

It just not the largest topic ever without liam's name on the author Like that cheesy rip-off copy of TLTE in darky's board. I remember when i got tired of the boards TLTE is what kept me coming back to enix. Thanks Liam.

Lol, all we need now is a bunch of n00bs from the DW3 and 7 boards and I'll be as content as a cow... In fact, we don't even need n00bs, it'll be fun enough to type long ass posts that move ;D You bastard! It took so long to read! but ha, i took the <move> tag in the quote
