Well, do you think you could call Nintendo about the GC? Say you don't know why it broke and tell them to replace it.

TLTE3: The official posting place of Liamland. ;D Now there's a slogan to get people to leave. Hey, I beat Megaman 7, a SNES game ported on the Cube's Megaman Anniversary Collection. I was surprised, it only took 6 tries of fighting my way all the way through Dr. Wily's lair and dying at the last boss. 7 is without a doubt the hardest Megaman game (besides some of the latter X-games that were so awful that it was hard to want to play them.) The end boss of MM7 has incredibly unpredictable attacks, and once you get to a point where you can avoid most of them, it's still a combination of skill and chance to beating the game on 4 E-tanks. Also the tanks don't regenerate if you use them and then die, so you need to use them sparingly or it's all the way back to the beginning. Now it's on to Megaman 8, featuring a tinny little girly voice actor who plays Megaman in the anime cut scenes. It's an okay game, but Megaman & Bass was more enjoyable--a SNES game that came out after and shared many sprites and characters with the PS's MM8. I remember liking 8 when I first played it, but probably because it was my second Playstation game ever (first being Bust A Move 2: Arcade Edition--aka Puzzle Bobble 2). That ought to do it for today's information you didn't need to know. Join us next week where we'll be discussing my sock drawer.

I beat MM 1-4, i beat all the robot masters in 5 and beat 3 robot masters in 6, i just kind of got bored since it's pretty much the same game.....
I know i should just go on to MM7 or 8 since they are not the same engine, but i want to do them in cronologically order.

I beat MM 1-4, i beat all the robot masters in 5 and beat 3 robot masters in 6, i just kind of got bored since it's pretty much the same game..... I know i should just go on to MM7 or 8 since they are not the same engine, but i want to do them in cronologically order. Of the original series, my favs are 2, 3, 6 & 7 2 was just a great game, music wise, memorable robots and stages and just a lot of fun to play. 3 had a similar fun game play with good music, but it was more of a challenge. It's the first game where Megaman can slide. 6 was the last of the NES series. What keeps this one interesting was that it's the first to feature two unique Rush adaptors, one that gives you "Muscles", allowing you to smash through certain block objects, and a Rush Jet adaptor that allows you to fly for a few seconds. You can also charge your cannon for a power shot, ever since MM4. 7, the first SNES game of the series, the Rush Jet adaptor gets carried over to this game, and it's essential to taking down some of Wily's stage villains. The Jet adaptor comes equipped with a rocket arm that, when charged, will seek out and destroy an evil robot, and then return to you. This game features the first appearance of Bass, from Megaman & Bass, and you get to fight him--though thankfully, his cannon is not as lethal as in the later SFC/GBA release. There's one memorable fight where Bass combines with Treble (his robot dog) and you fight him with your Rush jet as two flying robots duke it out in this tall air shaft. This game offers the most challenge of any Megaman game I've ever played because the end boss is incredibly unpredictable in its movements, and it's very difficult to avoid his attacks. I recommend the MM: Anniversary Collection, if you're interested in any of the above, and Megaman & Bass for GBA, which is just a solid game all around--you can choose either character to play as, and there are many advantages/disadvantages one has over the other. Though how these two ever got on the same side from trying to destroy each other in 7 & 8, they never really say.

Socom 2 servers are down...What will I do! I still need to beat Dragon Warrior VII... Dragon Warrior VII is worth beating once an then never playing again. At least that's what I got out of it. There's a bonus cave or two, but after getting all the way up to the end and wasting so much time on those stupid Monster Hearts, the last thing I wanted to do was continue to play the game. The gameplay needed an upgrade from the NES-FC/SFC originals, but it wasn't enough. By the time DW7 came out in The States, FF7 was years ahead of it in terms of gameplay and graphics. In addition to not releasing games in the US, the release of DW7 almost hurt its reputation even more. It was long, repetitious and the only reason I really found it interesting was that it was the first Dragon Warrior game to hit the states in about 9 years. I do thank that game for making me buy a Playstation, however, and getting me back into the gaming industry since Genesis. DW8 is a necessary leap in technology for the game design. Let's hope we see it, and hope the plot is as solid as some of the earlier games. "That's all I have to say about that."

After the static x show last night, i accidentally (no lie) passed a blinking red light, and to my luck a cop pulled me over, this was the first time i had ever been pulled over, after having to do stupid drunk tests he gave me a ticket, i kept telling him how nothing like that had ever happened, but he still gave me a ticket. I was hoping for just a warning, i mean i've never had a warning.....it's times like this i wish i had breast imlplants to seduce the cop or whatever.
So, my courtdate is sept. 1st, what do you think the chances of pleading not guilty would work?
I think they are not good, but my friend told me he got a lawyer for his speeding ticket and he told the judge he had a faulty speedometer, he still had to pay the fine but didn't get bad points on his license. But do you think i could do something for that aswell?
I don't want points on my license :/

I got pulled over once for running a stop sign at a three-way stop in some random backroads with nobody in sight. Nobody, that is, except a cop car parked on the cop's own front lawn waiting for people to run that pointless threeway stop. He tagged three of my friends that day, all going to the same party for a friend we hadn't seen in two years. A month or so later, I talked to the cop just before the court case and plead guilty to a lesser charge of not wearing a seat belt. The cop still gets credit for the pullover and I got less points on my license. The cop has to show up to your court date, so definately approach him beforehand if you can and ask if you can plead guilty to a lesser charge because you're a first time offender. If you don't feel sorry enough to do that, then you can always fake sorry. Two weeks later, I took a Defensive Driving Course (which I had already been signed up for before getting pulled over). The few points I had on my license disappeared.

We have Points in New York, and I think Connecticut, too. They probably would have mentioned it in driver's ed, if you had them. Hey Ender, is that WA state or DC?

WA state. Anywho, there's some news on me moving: I got a place by the college and I'm moving on Thursday. It means I won't have internet for an undertimned period, although I am sure I can use computers at the college to check in every so often. Moving out on my own......wow. I still haven't packed anything.
