Hey SDP,
I was thinking, in light of the recent slow down of posting, maybe we should condense these forums into 4 or 5 smaller groups? Right now, there's no one posting and we have too many topics that no one will ever post in, because we don't have the volume of membership that the old enix forums had.
Here's basically what I propose:
Enix General (Essentially what was changed to Misc., during one of the original Enix Forum redesigns)
Dragon Warrior/Quest Discussions (really only need one place to discuss all DW/DQ titles)
Other Enix Titles (This would be like the old Classic Enix Games forum, where people could bitch about wanting a rerelease of Terranigma and whatnot.)
SquareEnix General (use this place for people to bitch and vent about the merger, or discuss any new titles)
Other RPGs (General discussion for any RPG not Square or Enix related)
Ye Olde Enix Forum Exiles (A place for the originals to discuss old times and for anyone new to know what went down when Enix bought out Square, and subsequently fired all its EoA employees. TLTE3 could be moved to Ye Olde Enix Forum Exiles or something.)
Another way to boost forum discussions, would be to link this forum off of Dragon Quest/Warrior-related websites. For instance, try and get it linked off of Woodus's site, and the DQ Shrine. They might not want to link it, because it might possibly compete with their forums, but we can always word it in a way that it's one of the last remnants of evidence of the fans of Enix of America or something.
Anyway, just thinking of ways of sprucing up the place. I know this means abandoning the "Enix Forum Emulator" homage, and I'm not even sure what kind of editing power this forums service allows. It's kind of a weird correllation that the more people who post, the more people who post.
