It sucks. here is an awesome review:
Here is a lowdown/ little review of the game. There is no way I think final fantasy is the greatest, so I think the were a little narcisistic when the made this game.
You are the new kid in the town of Ivalice. After your first day and a snow ball fight, you and your friends meet up at your house. One of them brings a book, it is written in weird writing. While reading one of them reads a couple of words out of it, the others are talking about the world of "Final Fantasy" the greatest game ever. After they leave and every one goes to bed, something happens, you and the whole city is transported to Ivalice the country. What will happen? Will you find your friends, your way back home, if not, what will become of you?
GRAPHICS
B-
Okay, I am not the biggest fan of graphics when it comes to games. I don't care about how bad or good the graphics are. I also don't like graphics that are this small, but i must say that they were clean, and pretty good. The backgrounds were nice, that's about it. The characters were a little annoying looking, mainly because they were small and not too defined. Also the world map was kind of not as likeable as the one from FFT.
STORY
D+
I'm sorry, this was one of the worst stories I have ever heard. Most people are going to say otherwise because it's an FF game, but I am an honest person. This was made for kids, no doubt about it. There was no cussing, the story was directed towards a younger audience. The whole concept of it was pretty dumb. I don't want to spoil it at all, so I won't say why. If you want to know email me or IM me.
GAMEPLAY
D
As I said before this is definetly for a kid audience. The funny part is, The gameplay isn't. It's like they expected a kid to play it, but made the gameplay for an older audience. The Law System is definetly too complicated for any one under 14 years old to understand. The jobs were pretty stupid. There are a total of about 17-23 jobs, but your hero can only get about 7 jobs because he is a human class character. Why not let every one have every job.
MUSIC
B
To tell you the truth, I haven't listened to the music. I gave this score, hoping that the music is the only thing the decided to keep. FFT had one of the better sound tracks out there. It's not number one, but it's a favorite. I think that maybe they kept the music along the lines of FFT and the other FF, meaning it is pretty good.
REPLAYABILITY
F
The jobs are easy to get, so are the weapons, items, and characters. I also don't think this is a story I would like to see again for a long time. This isn't a game like SO:TSS, were no matter how many times you play, you will never like it any less. I might play through again, but not for maybe a 6 months - a year.
I am unbiased when I write my reviews. That is the main reason I didn't give everything a ten just because it's FF. Anyways, after those score's it averages about a
